Freediver catches a ride on a Great White Shark.

The horrible titled ‘A Blonde and a Great White Shark’ is caught right between a cliche and the debunking of a myth.

Amazing how passive a Great White can be when there’s not a da dum da dum da dum soundtrack playing, the relationship between the diver and shark is the best thing about this clip. Swimming, rather than killing machine. Spielberg did well by not using classical music on Jaws.

I’m not entirely convinced that it matters whether freediver Ocean Ramsey is blonde or not, but the marketing team sure know their keywords (rest assured I’ll be tagging this post with ‘blonde’ and ‘shark’ and ‘teeth’. Ok, not teeth).

By fault or default, I’m not sure GoPro’s ‘Be a Hero’ byline is appropriate here. But c’est la vie.

One of the most compelling stories about an escape from a shark attack.

“The anticipation of another attack was where my fear came from, the fear of being eaten again.”

Again! Interesting story of an Australian diver’s close call in the waters off Eden, New South Wales

A stunning clip of a Great White Shark gliding around Chris Fallows’ Stand Up Paddleboard. It’s the perfect example of how SUP can help people interact with an environment without being invasive, and further proof that sharks are not instinctively designed to chew on humans.
