There comes a time when you’re floating down a river for many days when somebody will eventually ask, ‘Guys, what day is it?’ It’s a beautiful moment, that confirmation of escape. And that’s why we love Weekend Threads. They see life through our eyes. They know that the only difference between a Sunday and a Monday is because a man once decided that people should work on a Monday. The only way to move away from that is to make a decision to do so. We did. It’s Always the Weekend.

Every time Dave turned around in the water he saw three messages on his raft. Blue (for whom he is a climate, waterways and oceans Ambassador), Paddle With Purpose (self explanatory) and It’s Always the Weekend. Three messages. One life.

Emily Bell spent many of her days with a flower in her hair, drybags as pillows and Weekend Threads sunnies on. She seemed comfortable with her lot.

They do T-Shirts too. Look good, don’t they?
