WHAT TO EXPECT
In the past 6 years Dave has toured internationally sharing stories and lessons from an eclectic series of expeditions. Funny, insightful, breathtakingly honest and endlessly positive, the Say Yes More lectures are designed to promote thought and action towards a happier, more adventurous life. Chasing passions, increasing efficiency and creating a personal culture of simple goals and values are just a few of the ideas Dave has adopted since he left his graphic design career in 2005.
Since then he has gone on to break a number of world records, becoming a renowned motivational speaker and the author of multiple books at the same time as pursuing his Expedition1000 goal; to complete 25 journeys of at least 1000 miles, each using a different form of non-motorised transport.
While his life is wholly unconventional, Dave’s story remains entirely relatable to all of his. His passions, goals and dreams are no different from ours and his lecture shares the simple tactics he employs, from quitting a job he didn’t enjoy to maintaining focus, dedication and a simple set of values that allow him to live the dream.
