Kelty specialise in camping and adventure, for families and individuals. The Swim1000 expedition made daily use of their Salida 2 Tent, two Folding Coolers (one medium, one large) which lived in our canoe and the whole team bedded down each night on camping pillows & Recluse 2.5 insulated sleeping pads, which just happen to be the same colour as Dave’s hair.

Two Kelty Folding Coolers lived in our Mad River Canoe, primarily used for storing food within and preparing food on. There are handy drinks holders on top, 2 on the medium, [pictured] and 4 on the large. Lightweight, durable and great at hiding in green, orange and grey environments, these are superb camping accessories.

Kelty camping pillows are so comfortable you can sleep standing up if they’re in contact with your head, as Em and Dizzy are proving here. Dizzy is holding a Recluse 2.5 Sleeping Pad, which you can blow up with your mouth OR pump up with your hands. Very clever. And comfortable.

The Salida 2 tent weighs in at less than 2kg when unpacked and is good freestanding or pegged in to brace for high winds. 2 poles, inner tent and a flysheet makes construction super easy, we were often 0 to Tent in less than 2 minutes.

Ness proves that the Salida 2 is light enough to play around with, should you not be ready for bed…
